It was nice to get back into a 'westernised' country after being in Russia. We stayed at a hostel on Academia Tee, which was fantastic, more like a hotel and well worth the 10 euros. Tallinn is a medieval trade town, the city hall is from the 12th century. The town is pritty small, so we decided to visit some of the more unconventional sections of town. The highlight being the massive concrete ferry terminal structure on the harbour. This was also one of the places where we did a lot of drinking, and bought some cheap supplies for our onward journey into scandanavia.
